Dr. Jeffrey Cooper is a Clinical Professor at the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
He graduated from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1971, later that year he completed a special post-graduate training program in Vision Therapy. He served as the assistant chief of the Vision Therapy Services from 1972-1978. Dr. Cooper received a Masters of Science in physiological optics. He has authored over 60 research papers that have appeared in numerous prestigious ophthalmological and optometric journals. Currently, he is on the editorial board of Binocular Vision and Eye Muscle Surgery and the Journal of Behavioral Optometry. He is a reviewer for numerous professional publications.
Dr. Cooper, under the auspices of Bausch and Lomb, served as a consultant to the USA Olympic Team. He has provided peer review for research grants submitted to the National Institute of Health/National Eye Institute. Dr. Cooper presently teaches in both the professional and residency programs – strabismus and amblyopia.He developed both the Computer Orthopter and the HTS therapy systems. Both of these treatment systems are used by more than 6,000 optometrists and ophthalmologists worldwide. He serves as a consultant to Vision 3D, and maintains practices in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Currently Dr. Cooper is a principal investigator of a multi-center clinical trial on convergence insufficiency sponsored by the National Institute of Health – National Eye Institute.

Trained as a corneal-anterior segment surgeon, Dr. Panariello has performed over 15,000 cataract operations and is considered one of NY’s premiere LASIK surgeons. Dr. Panariello’s advanced training in micro-surgery allows him to perform highly skillful corneal transplant and glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Panariello has been an innovator of the most modern surgical techniques. Dr. Vanessa Conenna received her doctorate degree from the prestigious New England College of Optometry. Prior to attending optometry school she was both an optometric technician and a vision therapist. In this role she treated hundreds of patients with eye muscle disorders and perceptual problems. She is currently the director of Vision Therapy in our Manhattan and Brooklyn offices. She began fitting contact lenses in our Staten Island and Manhattan offices. She also performs primary eye care examinations including pre and post operative care. She is available for lasik consultations in all three of our locations

Dr. Jacob Rosenbaum has over 20 years experience as a Retinal Specialist.
He is trained in the most advanced technology to treatretinal disorders. Dr. Rosenbaum performs comprehensive retinal examinations, fluorescein angiography to determine blood flow in the retina, laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, and advanced vitreo-retinal surgery including the very difficult retinal peels.

Dr. Gregory Borukhov is the Director of Pediatric Eye Care, Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy Services in Brooklyn. Dr. Borukhov received his doctorate degree from the prestigious SUNY State College of Optometry in New York, where he was honored with the COVD Award for Excellence in Vision Training.
Dr. Borukhov has extensive experience and expertise in the care of pediatric and adult patients with special emphasis on binocular vision problems, visual perceptual dysfunction, developmental vision issues and neuro – rehabilitation with traumatic brain injury patients. He has treated large number of patients with Vision Therapy (VT) in order to address these issues. Dr. Borukhov works closely with other professionals such as occupational therapists, reading and education specialists, psychologists, physical therapists and medical physicians in order to provide an integrated diagnostic and therapeutic approach.
Dr. Borukhov provides comprehensive eye and vision care for infants, children, and adults. By providing functional and developmental testing and diagnosis, he is able to identify visual dysfunctions in children and determine appropriate therapy. His expertise allows him to diagnose and treat conditions such as strabismus (misaligned or crossed eyes), amblyopia (“lazy eye”), accommodative and convergence dysfunctions and visually related learning disabilities.
